One of the earliest turnip varieties. Roots and flesh are white , juicy, mild-tasting. Young leaves can be also used for food. Direct seed from the end of March to the end of June. Crop thinning is recommended by keeping the strongest plants. Timely harvesting is very important as overgrown turnips are hard and unsavoury. The taste of turnips also changes due to lack of moisture.
