LETTUCE REGINA DEI GHIACCI (ICEQUEEN)

A medium-to-late, high-yielding “Iceberg” type lettuce. Grow within 80–85 days after germination. Do not form blooms. The heads are large, tasty, crispy, edges of leaves are sharp. Begin to germinate, when the soil heats up to 4 ºC. Upon growing real leaves, the seedlings are pricked out in 30x30 cm distances. Grows best in a humus-rich, water-permeable soil. Grow poorly in the shade and acidic soil.
