Early variety of beetroot which do not have tendency to form blooms. Grown for summer and autumn harvest. Roots can be harvested mechanically. Roots are globe shaped, large, dark red, with a smooth, firm rind. Suitable for juicing, storage till March and processing. Grow best in medium heavy, deeply tilled, non-acidic loamy soil. In poorly tiled soil beets germinate in different time and become thin.
