BEETROOT RED SHINE An early monogerm variety that is easy to sow and requires almost no thinning. It is valued for its high-quality tubers, which stand out for their particularly good taste, rich colour and beautiful shape. The flesh is bright red and juicy. Beets are grown for fresh consumption; they can be preserved and stored for a long period. The plants are harvested after 108–112 days following germination. Beets grow in fertile, moderately heavy, deeply cultivated and water-permeable soil. Beets are sown directly in the soil or planted as seedlings. During growth, beets are fertilised with complex fertilisers. 3 g – about 220–350 seeds. 3 g is sufficient for an area of 1.5–2.0 m2. The yield of this root vegetable is determined by the planting density: the predicted yield is 27–43 kg.
