The mixture is for active recreation areas and sports grounds. The lawn grows perfectly both in sunny areas and in the shade. The lawn recovers quickly after treading down.
The lawn can be sown from early spring to autumn, and sometimes from October to November, just before the frosts. Then the seeds germinate next spring. An even and dense lawn can only be expected if the seeds do not lack moisture for 14 to 18 days after sowing. With insufficient moisture, the seeds can not germinate for even a few months and will germinate only when the soil is moist enough.
Properly made and maintained lawns remain decorative for a long time. When the newly made lawn forms a grassland, its long-term maintenance begins. The lawn should be regularly fertilised, mowed and watered.
