PAINTED NETTLE COLOCHA SCARLET
These perennial flowers, cultivated as annuals, exhibit exceptional beauty due to their ornate and colourful leaves. They can serve as an ideal backdrop for other plants, fill empty spaces within a flower bed or add vibrancy to areas that lack colour. 45–50 cm tall. When the marigolds reach a height of 10 cm, it is recommended to pinch off the tops to encourage branching. The plants can be transplanted outdoors after the last frost date, either in flower beds or pots. Towards the end of summer, before frost arrives, the plants can be brought indoors and cultivated on a sunny windowsill.
Seeds typically take 14–18 days to germinate, with optimal temperatures ranging from +20-22 °C. It is very important that the seeds are kept moist while germinating.
25 seeds is sufficient for a flower bed measuring 4-5 square metres.
