Ixia are perennial, colorful flowers that bloom in late spring or early summer, belonging to the gladiolus family. They stand out for their variety of colors and a dozen flowers shaped like stars with six petals. Although ixias are best kept indoors, they can also be found in seasoned gardeners' flower beds. Planting and caring for ixias is not complicated, but requires several nuances: bright light, high humidity, and high temperatures. They are perfect for bouquet arrangements and can grow up to 40 cm tall. At night, when temperatures drop, they hide their flowers. Ixia flowers have a not particularly strong but very pleasant fragrance.
