GLADIOLUS JO JO

Perennial bulb flowers. Grown in flower gardens. Inflorescences are picked when 2 flowers unfold and 3-4 flower buds show colour. Grows best in open, sunny place protected from winds, in medium-light or loamy soil. Should be watered during drought: 3-4 buckets of water per 1 sq. m. Crop rotation of 4-5 years should be practiced. Bulbs should be soaked for half an hour before planting. NOT ABLE TO OVERWINTER IN THE GROUND. Should be dug up in the second half of September. Dried tubers should be stored at a temperature of 4-6 ˚C during the winter.
