GARDEX TREES WHITENING SET 1,56KG

Weight: 1.6 kg / item
Package measurement: 14 x 12 x 14 cm

Purpose. Mixture of minerals for preventive care of fruit trees and fruit bushes.

Effect. Temperature fluctuations, especially in the second half of winter, cause damage to the trunk and branch bark tissues. This later results in bark ruptures and formation of wounds. After whitening the bark, it does not become very hot. Therefore, influence of temperature fluctuations decreases significantly.

Method of use.  Before whitening, lay a piece of polyethylene (fabric) on the ground. Then, use a metal brush or scraper to remove thoroughly the splinters of the bark, lichens and moss. Collect the splinters which fell to the ground and burn them. After noticing cracks in the bark, peel off the damaged bark and apply Gardex grafting putty on the healthy area of the plant. The whitening agent is ready for use. Stir well before use. The product can be diluted with water up to 10% of its content. Apply the whitening agent evenly on the trunk and larger branches with a brush.  Output of the whitening agent: 1-3 old fruit bushes; 3-5 fruit bushes or young fruit trees. The whitening agent has to be used in dry weather and when there is no frost. The best time for whitening - late autumn at a positive air temperature (>+5oC). If you did not manage to whiten the fruit trees and fruit bushes in the autumn, be sure to do that in early spring (even at the end of February, if possible). Remember, it is too late to whiten the plants in mid-spring, unless whitening is done for reasons of beauty and tidiness.

Composition: A mixture to be diluted with water, consisting of aqueous styrene-acrylic polymer dispersions, fillers, pigments and technological additives.

Best before: 18 months from the date of manufacture. If the properties of the mixture have not changed, the product can be continued to be used.
