RHODODENDREN SOIL Stable with a high humus content and important nutrients for successful growth: • ASB GreenworId PREMIUM Rhododendron Soil makes heavy soil looser, absorbs moisture and prevents the roots from drying out too quickly. • Thanks to its stable structure and optimal root aeration, it creates the best growing conditions. • ASB GreenworId PREMIUM rhododendron soil is ready to use and has a good balance of all the necessary nutrients for faster and better plant growth. ASB Greenworld PREMIUM Rhododendron Soil is specially adapted for all species of rhododendrons, azaleas, hydrangeas and heathers, as well as other lime-sensitive plants. Rhododendrons and other plants grown in drained beds need a humic and, above all, acidic soil, which is why special soil must be used. Recommendation for use. Planting in the open: Dig out 25-40 cm of soil and replace it with PREMIUM Rhododendron Soil. The planting hole should be about 4 times larger than the roots of the plant to be planted. Add the plant, pour in PREMIUM Rhododendron Soil and press well. Abundant watering is required. Planting in pots: For example, to repot azaleas, use a container that is 2-4 cm larger. Make a drainage layer in the bottom with clay shards or gravel. Add a little PREMIUM Rhododendron Soil on top of the drainage layer. Keeping the roots of the plant in the middle of the pot, fill the container with PREMIUM Rhododendron Soil. Press down the soil and water it thoroughly. Soil improvement: For older plants, we recommend applying 5-10 cm of PREMIUM Rhododendron Soil each spring and lightly pressing it down. Advice: 1. Don't forget to fertilise: Start fertilising about 4 weeks after planting. Use ASB GreenworId PREMIUM Rhododendron Fertiliser. 2. In winter: Rhododendrons have short roots and quickly become water-stressed when the ground freezes. Therefore, cover the roots with a layer of leaves ahead of time. GROWING SUBSTRATE: For plants that like acidic soil. Usage: Ready-to-use substrate for planting and transplanting of all acid-loving plants such as rhododendrons, heathers, hydrangeas and azaleas. Main ingredients: peat from raised bogs (medium to low fineness) lime NPK fertiliser. pH value (CaCl₂): 4.0–5.0. Nutrients (CAT): 150-400 mg/l N nitrogen, 100-300 mg/l P₂O₅ phosphate, 150-400 mg/l K₂O potassium oxide.
